Search clipboard history on your Mac
SnippetCraft keeps searchable clipboard history locally so recent copied text can be found and reused without becoming part of cloud sync.
Find a copied item
Open Clipboard
Select Clipboard in the SnippetCraft sidebar, or use the clipboard palette workflow when working from another app.
Search the history
Type a remembered word or phrase to narrow recent clipboard entries.
Filter by source app
Use the app filter when you remember where the text was copied, such as a browser, terminal, or chat app.
Reuse the result
Choose the matching item to put it back into your workflow, or save valuable content as a permanent snippet.
macOS 26 and earlier versions
macOS 26 Tahoe includes a built-in Spotlight clipboard history. Earlier supported macOS versions do not provide the same built-in history workflow. SnippetCraft remains useful when you want clipboard capture connected to a reusable snippet library, source-app filtering, and direct conversion from copied text to documented snippets.
Privacy considerations
Clipboard content can include passwords, private messages, tokens, and customer information. SnippetCraft processes and stores clipboard history locally, and raw clipboard history is not uploaded as part of optional snippet sync. Review the Privacy Policy before enabling any clipboard manager.
Use history for something copied recently. Use a named snippet when the content should remain searchable, documented, and reusable over time.
